Here at Lao Canadian Evangelical Mennonite Church (LCEMC), we have programs both within the local community and within the Mennonite community. Within the church, we have regular services and special events. While we alternate between English and Lao preachers, we always translate into Lao during English services. We also have leadership training, a Bible study group, a youth group (with monthly meetings), and are working to build relationships with the local and wider Lao community as well as with other churches. When we have special services, such as baptismals and holiday services, we share fellowship meals following the service.

We are connected within the Mennonite community, where members of our congregation attend Mennonite assemblies. We work to strengthen the relationships within the Mennonite community, especially under Mennonite Church Eastern Canada (MCEC), which includes over 90 churches. Currently, LCEMC shares some joint services a few Sundays out of the year with three churches: Community Mennonite Fellowship in Drayton, Steinmann Mennonite Church in Baden, and Wanner Mennonite Church in Cambridge.
